How We Calculate Extra Discounts?
The system will place you at a higher discount level automatically based on your order history. You will get lower prices on everything automatically.
The discounts are calculated on a 'levels' basis. If you log in at the moment you will see price breaks for ascending quantities.
If you are at higher discount levels your price breaks shift one step up.
(Order: 1 USD =Score: 1 point )
If your score is less than 10000,than you will be the "Member lever 0 ",no discounts.
If your score is more than 10000,than you will be the "Member lever 1" ,you can get the 98% discounts.
If your score is more than 100000,than you will be the "Member lever 2 ", you can get the 96% discounts.
If your score is more than 1000000,than you will be the "Member lever 3 " , you can get the 94% discounts.
As you go up in member levels you get more discount at large quantity best price, regardless of quantity.
How To Get Extra Wholesale Discounts?
I am a good customer - can you give me (even) better prices?
Regular Taobaodao buyers will be able to take advantage of special discounts.
If your total order history exceeds US$10000, then you will be the "Member lever 1". (1USD=1Score ) , you'll be automatically promoted to Taobaodao Discount Level 1 (98%), and you'll automatically receive a new price break system across the board, on any product you order.
As your level up, the large-quantity price breaks become available to you in smaller quantity.
By level 3 you can buy a single piece sample for the same price that standard buyers only get if they're buying 50 or more pieces.
There's no need for wholesale supplier contracts, pre-payment, or lengthy discussions: it's straightforward and open to all, just like everything on Taobaodao.
Large Order Quotations
The price breaks indicated in the online shop normally go up to 100 or 200 pieces. What if you want to order A LOT MORE? Can Taobaodao give you a good quote?
Answer:
Of course, we can get you better prices for large volume orders.
If you are interested in a quote for a large quantity of items, please contact us with the following details:
- The item code and description
- The exact desired order quantity
- What your desired time frame would be
- Any special packing instructions request, e.g. bulk packing without product boxes
With this information we will get back to you with a quote for the product price. Shipping costs / logistics arrangements would need to be discussed in more detail for large orders.

Please don't write us an email like this:
"Dear Taobaodao please give me a quote for all your Memory Card in quantities 10,000 ; 100,000 ; 1,000,000. Best regards."
If you are really interested in buying tens of thousands of a particular product, please contact us with full details as noted above, and preferably begin by placing small quantity sample orders on our site so you can check out the products first hand.
How Much Tax Do I Need To Pay?
Do I have to pay import duties on products sent from Taobaodao?
Short answer: probably yes, probably more in some countries, less in others.
Long-winded answer:
Please note that all import taxes / duties are the buyers’ responsibility.
Taobaodao won’t be responsible for customs costs incurred.
Many countries do not charge import duties on private items, samples, and goods below a certain stated value.
However, you may find that you have to pay taxes when goods you have ordered from us arrive in your country.
Obviously you will want this to be as low as possible, but Taobaodao CANNOT give you advice or information about tax rates and customs charges in your country.
All we can do is declare the value of the shipped goods at a nominal value (see below), which may still be fully taxable.
Items shipped from Taobaodao will be declared at the lowest nominal market price as a standard assumption.
This lowest market price is based on the manufacturing origin and might not be reflective of how much the item will cost you if bought in your local retail market.
You must ensure you find out about regulations in your own country before ordering from Taobaodao. In most countries the actual origin of the goods (China) is not important: only the declared value of the goods and declared contents is relevant.

How To Make Bank Transfers - Paying For Taobaodao Orders By Bank Transfer
Payment Methods: How Can I Pay For A Taobaodao Order?
o We only accept payment by Paypal (which includes credit cards) ,by Bank Transfer (i.e. T/T - telegraphic transfer),and Western Union ( more than 1000USD ).
o Other methods of payment are not accepted.
o All payments must be in full, in advance.
o No taxes are added by Taobaodao.
How To Pay For Taobaodao Orders By Bank Transfer
In these notes "bank transfer" means the same as 'wire transfer' or 'telegraphic transfer' (T/T). You are instructing your bank to send money to Taobaodao 's account electronically.
STEP 1 - Create an order
In order to make a bank transfer payment for an order, you need to use the online shop system at Taobaodao.com to place an order.
If you have not already done so, you need to register a Taobaodao wholesale buying account to be able to login and place orders.
Completing the checkout sequence will save your order (cart contents including shipping fee) and generate an invoice ID / "order number". (A Taobaodao order number is a 14-digit number and if you don't know your number please login to your Taobaodao account and then go to My Account to view a summary of past orders.)
You need to quote your order number when you make your bank transfer and when you make enquiries about the status of your order.
STEP 2 - Instruct your bank to make the transfer
When you go to your bank you need to give them the following information:
o The correct total amount to pay.
Please print your order summary to take to the bank so you can submit the correct amount including shipping.

You can submit payment in any currency.
Banks often charge fees for international transfers. You are responsible for your bank's fees. It is important that you ask your bank exactly how much they will charge you for the transfer, and add this amount to the remitted total. If you do not add it, the fee will be deducted from the transferred money, and you won't have paid enough for your order.
o Add Order Comments:
- your order number,
- your name / email address,
- your company name,
- your delivery address,
- and other instructions relating to the ordered items such as colours chosen and customs declaration instructions.
It will help the bank if you give them the order comments in printed form when you go there to do the transfer.
Please note if you send us money with no order number it may be impossible for us to process your order immediately because we will be unable to match your payment to your order. You must quote your order number with your bank transfer.
Please send the payment in the same currency as your order in Taobaodao.com - If you are paying in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) please fax us your transfer confirmation as HSBC does not always notify us of incoming HKD payments.
STEP 3 - After submitting payment
If you have already made a bank payment to our HSBC account as described above, please allow some time for this payment to go through:
o 2-4 working days for the banks to complete the transaction, depending on the banks;
o 1 working day for Taobaodao to process your payment and match it to an order.
You will receive an email from Taobaodao to confirm that we have begun processing your order for delivery.
If you are sure you have successfully transferred payment, and haven't received the "processing" notification in five working days, please email or fax us with your order number and full details of your bank transfer we will check up on the order status.
Once your order is in processing, please allow 3-5 days for processing and dispatch depending on items ordered and quantity. If you need to check on your order please open an "My account " on www.taobaodao.com.

Taxes On Imported Goods - please read before ordering

We don't add taxes, VAT, or other hidden charges. You pay us what you see on the order screen, i.e. goods subtotal + shipping cost.
HOWEVER - In most countries in the world you have to pay taxes on imported goods. That's life.
Sometimes goods under a certain value, or in certain categories, do not incur taxes.
The rules are different in every country.
In any one country the rules are often applied differently in different places, and sometimes rather randomly.
Taobaodao is based in China. We are a Chinese company. Therefore anything you buy from us is going to be imported as far as your customs are concerned.
Unfortunately there is no way for us to know the rules, regulations, customs, traditions, practices, loopholes, schemes, systems, paperwork, codes, laws, or rulings of any country.
As such we cannot, and will not, offer advice about taxes in your country.
As the buyer, it is your responsibility to find out that information before you order.
If you have to pay import taxes and/or additional duties and sales taxes (e.g. VAT in the UK) then you would have to pay that to the courier upon receipt of the package(s) from China. Unfortunately we can't calculate this for you and there is no way to pre pay it. If you are drop-shipping or sending a gift item to someone please make sure they are aware of the possibility of having to pay taxes when receiving the goods.
If you order goods from us and feel that you've been unexpectedly 'stung' with taxes at your end, please don't blame us.
Please find out as much as you can about your import taxes in your own country before completing your order.
If you find out information about the import tax situation in your country, and you believe there are ways for you to minimize the taxes you have to pay (or eliminate the taxes altogether), WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY TO FOLLOW YOUR INSTRUCTIONS regarding labelling, packing, declarations, invoices, etc. Just tell us what you need and we will let you know what we can do to help.
If you don't tell us anything we will just state on the shipping waybill the "China Nominal Retail Value" and the goods will be declared as Samples. In many countries this still means you're going to have to pay tax to the courier when you sign for the goods.
